- High Performance Culture Competencies
Saks Fifth Avenue has identified ten core competencies that are critical for driving a high performance, to ensure the competencies become part of our culture, we have incorporated their into our associate appraisal systems to ensure individual accountability.
Our “Virtual Career Center” provides Associates with the tools and opportunities to apply for open positions, explore different career paths, and create an Associate Profile that indicates individual goals for internal growth and mobility.
This 12-month program facilitated by our Chairman and CEO helps select Director and Senior Director associates to develop their leadership ability for current and future positions.
This 6-month program, facilitated by our Chairman and CEO, Steve Sadove helps newly promoted and hired VPs accelerate their transition into their new roles.
Our online campus has over 100 instructor led, e-Learning and Self Study modules, addressing everything from personal development to functional skills to assist associates in developing themselves.
We offer onboarding plans for many of our positions, which assists associates entering a new role to quickly develop the skills and relationships needed for success in their role.
